1. Particle board cannot be used externally.
2. Liquid membranes should not be installed directly to particle board, use tile underlay.
3. All substrates should be primed before any membrane installations.
4. All external balconys shall have minimum falls of 1:100.
5. Rock top and wonder cap floor wastes are best suited for waterproofing applications.
6. Floor wastes shall be recessed in wet areas.
7. Do not directly fix tiles to any polyurethane membrane system externally.
8. Memebrane systems shall finish 50 mm above finished floor height.
9. Two-part membrane systems should be used under vinyl applications.
10. All liquid membrane systems should be a minimum 1.5 mm DFT.
11. You should not use a flexible sealant as a bond breaker in planter boxes.
12. Water-stop angles need to be installed at doorways to all wet areas.
13. Waterproof membrane systems internally should be 1 to 1.2 mm dry film thickness.
14, Waterpoof membrane systems externally should be 2 to 3 mm dry film thickness
